In this one-day programme, a team or group learn and experience how meetings can be structured and time-efficient while allowing all voices be heard. Participants learn how to run meetings that are dynamic and can build collaborative capacity and encourage fresh thinking.
You will learn the components and Building Blocks of the Thinking Environment® methodology to enable you to apply these skills in your professional life and personal life. The programme is based on the accredited Transforming Meetings™ framework developed by Time to Think Ltd.
This programme can help you reinvigorate meetings, and create a psychologically safe environment where robust discussions can happen.
The Programme includes guidance for creating connection and collaboration in virtual meetings.
How it works
This experiential Programme is ideally for a team of 6-8 people, or for a group of colleagues or peers who lead or manage others.
It is run in-person over one full day or two half days. It can be run online (over Zoom) over two half-days.
The format can be designed to include time to focus on a real issue or problem that the team or group is facing.
The Programme is of value either to a team who work together or for a group of senior leaders who will earn and practice skills they
can apply to transform their own team meetings and interactions.
Your Investment: €3,000 + VAT at the appropriate rate. (for a group of 6-8 people)
The venue to be provided by the client or it can be provided off-site at an additional cost.

Frequently Asked Questions about the Transforming Meetings Programme

One of the most important factors (one of the Ten Components) in creating a good Thinking Environment is the place in which people meet. This Programme can take place in a venue provided by the client or a venue can be provided by me, Mary Pyne at an additional cost.
The venue often used by Mary Pyne for workshops is the Members’ Dining Room in the historic RDS Members Building, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4, D04 AK83.
The hotel is easily accessible by public transport. Paid car parking is available (Merrion Road).

This is a one-day Programme 9.30 - 5pm, with breaks for lunch and mid-morning and mid-afternoon. It can also be offered online, over two mornings.
The format of this experiential and participative Programme is outlined at the start. The day is structured to cover a range of elements while allowing flexibility for the best learning experience for participants. You will learn and experience the Transforming Meetings™ methodology to:
Create a dynamic meeting environment in which the quality of thinking and listening is elevated
Learn Transforming Meetings™ techniques (Thinking Pairs, Rounds, Dialogue, and the Time to Think Council) which will both enhance engagement and make effective use of time
Build a psychologically safe environment where quality decisions can be made
Encourage all voices to be heard and engage in respectful, robust discussions
The Programme fee includes two (online) meetings in advance, where Mary Pyne meets the Client (the
Sponsor and/or Team Leader) to discuss the context for the session and , if required, to design around a topic
or issue the team may find useful to work on .

The leader is me, Mary Pyne. I am a qualified Time To Think Consultant, Coach and Facilitator who loves introducing people to the simple yet powerful framework of creating thinking environments, and the transformative effect this can have.
In my experiential Programmes, participants learn how to think with courage and clarity, with rigour and imagination, learning how to generate new ideas and solutions that lead to better decisions and better outcomes.
Having worked at top team level in large organisations, I understands the challenges of leading and
managing teams in complex environments. She has extensive experience in translating strategic priorities into deliverable outcomes, in managing change and delivering results. Prior to working as a Coach and Organisational Consultant, I was Head of HR and Corporate Services in Dublin City Council.
